Are you a Mom, a soon-to-be Mom, or thinking about becoming a Mom?
You’re In The Right Place!
Wherever you are in your journey, you’ll find you get lots of advice from: 1) books, 2) the google 3) everyone you know 4) everyone you don’t know 5) your social media accounts 6) your own mother, or mother-in-law. Some of it is great advice! Some of it is… not so good. Some of it doesn’t apply to you, or to your unique life. A lot of it is just confusing.
How Do You Make Sense Of It All?
I’m here to help! I’m a new mom and a practicing Naturopathic Doctor. In addition to my medical training, I have a certificate in midwifery and have completed a two-year mentorship in integrative women’s health, and a one-year apprenticeship in midwifery and pediatrics.
I’m raising my little girl, Neela, with lots of help from my mom as I navigate the most joyful, difficult, magical, exhausting days of my life. My husband Ryan is right by my side as my co-parent and co-pilot. I know about getting through busy days with too little sleep, the brain fog that envelops me when I’m struggling to remember where I’m going and what I’m supposed to do next, the wonder of watching my baby sleep, and the love that makes my whole world brand new again.
This Mom Stuff Is Magical! And Really, Really Hard Sometimes.
So here’s where you can sign up to get my blog posts on all kinds of things related to a healthy pre-pregnancy and pregnancy, birth, breast feeding, and baby care. You may not have had a shower lately, you can’t remember what a real meal looks like, your baby may have been sleeping and eating like a champ and all of a sudden—he’s not. But you can hear from me from time to time in a no-judgement letter to you, with all the encouragement you need to get through the peaceful times and the not-so-peaceful times.
